Sick of geetting rained out!!!!

Well, our big July 4th race got rained out!!! It was early this time, and we never got to see the car go down the track. Aniston had fun playing in the rain, and Trish brought amazing homemade BBQ for us to eat, but no racing! Here are a few pictures....

No Rain, No Win!

We finally got to race Saturday, rain free. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good night. Randy lost in the first round, bought back in, then lost the second round. It just wasn't our night... As always, Aniston and I had fun watching and hanging out with family.. Here are a few pictures...

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Randy tried racing again Saturday night and didn't even get to unload the car. The rain hit and hit hard! We got almost 2 inches in a few hours! Hopefully next week we'll make it!

Last week, we didn't race because we were busy watching George Strait! A fabulous weekend!

May 30th race

Randy raced tonight and did wonderful.... he lost in the semifinal round. I am stuck at work, and missed the fun. Aniston is in Amarillo with aunt Mal & Nanna. She'll be upset she missed it! I wasn't there to take pictures.... so next time! I'll update later with details from Randy!

Aniston loves the races! She is a Schmidt for sure! She loves to be with her daddy and PawPaw! She enjoys playing in the trailer, so you'll always find some baby dolls and toys! She also watches all the cars. This year she has a big girl chair that her Nanna got her. It is now the official "race track pink chair".

It was 80 degrees outside, but she just had to have daddy's Dallas Cowboys blanket in her lap.

Update

Last week, Saturday, Randy WON! I wasn't able to be there (working), but I'm told it was fantastic.

Tonight, we got rained out. Randy was in the staging lanes for round two and it started raining. We all loaded up the trailer and headed home. I was bummed that we wouldn't get to see him win!

A little history, Randy ended last season as KING OF THE TRACK! He ran a 6.27 to take home a Wally!!! We were all so excited & can't wait for another season of wins!
